Angela Pittenger is a Tucson artist who creates beautiful, moody oil paintings including ocean art, landscapes, animal portraits and a little bit of whimsy. She is also a photographer specializing in weddings, portraits and events.

The painting above was made from a photo I took at Morro Rock, California. When I painted it, I was feeling the darkness of the world and put it into my work. Art really is therapeutic, and I encourage anybody to try expressing themselves in a creative way.
